Go-Kart Activity for Scout & Guide Events

The go-kart team was created by the Millers Venture Scout Unit for Poacher ’77, Lincolnshire’s first International Camp.  The interest created during that event resulted in the team building a mobile activity that provided karting at events up and down the country for a number of years.

In 1997 the Millers Venture Scout Unit could no longer support the activity or supply enough staff.  As a result the current Go-Kart Activity Team Fellowship emerged.

Now 4 decades since that first camp, the team provides go-karting activities for members of the Scout and Guide Associations on around 8 weekends and 2 weeks each summer, as well as working weekends in the winter and the odd social gathering.
